I’m Lejie Lin, an Interactive Media student and game designer from China, in my senior year at the University of Miami.
I’m passionate about exploring how narrative and mechanics shape interactive experiences across VR, digital games, and board games.

MAIN PROJECTS
Door of the Mind (2D platformer)
Game Designer / Programmer / Level Designer
    Door of Mind is a 2D puzzle platformer. Players assume the role of a burned-out office worker who visits a hospital that mirrors his mind. Each level turns inner struggles into spatial puzzles solved through world-switching, gravity, and mirror doors. The player’s goal is to navigate through doors, activate buttons, and collect keys to uncover buried memories that bring the character closer to inner healing.
Rush to Nuggetain (Board game)
Game Designer / Narrative Designer / Physical Prototyping
    "Rush To Nuggetain" is an experimental board game set around a mysterious central mine in the Wild West. Each player becomes a prospector venturing into the heart of the mountain. Using interactive devices, players navigate a hexagonal world to uncover new terrain, compete for gold, and shape their characters’ destinies. The first to collect ten gold or fulfill their unique destiny condition wins.
Duck Crossing (2D Alternative Controls)
Game Designer / Programmer / Level Designer
    Duckcrossing is an alt-control game created with GameSalad in a four week team project. Players use wearable controllers to mimic a duck’s waddling and wing flapping, physically guiding the duck through its journey from hatchling to parent.
GPA RUN (2D Platformer)
Game Designer / Programmer / Level Designer
    GPA RUN is a 2D platformer about academic pressure. Run from the Deadline, balancing stress and GPA by crushing homework and exam monsters. Each run begins with a randomly generated character, whose traits shape the journey ahead. Pick up or let go of your Dream Item to decide what to sacrifice. Each choice shapes your path and how your story ends.
